John Davis ("Jack") was born to farming parents John WCF Davis and Gwendolyn Davis (McGillvery) September 13, 1933. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting elk, deer and antelope, along with fishing and camping. John is survived by daughter Deetta Betz (Davis,) son-in law Jackie Betz, grandchildren Pamela Schroder (Betz,) Clark Betz, and great grandchildren Conor Schroder and Taylor Brooks. John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Gwen Davis, wife Wanda Davis (O'Bear,) and daughter Johnna Davis.
A celebration of life will be held at the home of Deetta and Jackie Betz at 5501 Calhoun Road in Byers, CO, on Saturday, January 12th, at 1:00PM. Flowers are acceptable-please have them delivered directly to the residence.
All condolences and sympathies can be shown with donations to the Colorado State Veteran's Home on Fitzsimons Campus in Aurora, CO in the name of John F Davis.
