John Gurule Jr., 80, of Arvada, passed away October 22, 2014.
He was born May 15, 1934 in Boulder, Colorado, the son of John and Mary (Gonzales) Gurule. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School. On October 15, 1953, he joined the Army. Later he married Katherine Gurule, of Denver, Colorado.
John is survived by his daughter, Sharon Gurule; two brothers, Melvin (Margo) Gurule, Joe B. Gurule; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kay Gurule; brothers, Gilbert Gurule, Sam Gurule; and sister, Elaine Lucero.
