John R. Hooper, 62, of Aurora, passed away November 12, 2016.
He was born August 27, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Vernon and Girlean Hooper. He was a graduate of Hot Springs High School. On November 19, 1999 he married Cheryl Hooper, of Aurora, Colorado.
John was an avid Lead Guitar player and music lover in general, especially Rock and Blues. He was a Software Test Engineer by trade, a professional photographer, a huge fan of Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and a loving father, friend, and husband.
John is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hooper; two daughters, Paula (Jose Suarez) Hooper and Dominique O'Neal; and sister, Verlean Hooper. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Girlean Hooper.
