Romans 8:37-39
37- Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38- For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. 39 - nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS or LORD.
Today we are here to celebrate an amazing soul, husband, father grandfather, and great grandfather.
John J. Davis (J.J.) has persevered through the toughest situations in life. He was born in 1932, in Raleigh, West Virginia. Coming from a family of 13, he was no stranger to hard work. He proudly served in the United States Army for 27 years, and was devoted to the United States Postal Service for 34 years. He raised anywhere from 7 to9 children in the household at anytime, also helping to take care of 6 children outside of the home. He taught his kids the value of respect and hard work. He spoke truth and love to anyone he encountered.
A father, husband, teacher, he was touched by GODS grace.
Survived by wife, Barbara Davis, his children, John R. Davis (Jake), Jason Davis, Anita Davis, Christopher David, Jennifer Davis, Jody Davis, Samantha Wilson, Kevin Langford, Adam Davis, Susan Gomez, Serena Turk, Jolene Zetwick, Justin Millard, 31 grandchildren and one great grandson.
We have all learned so much from him and will take this knowledge into our lives, I declare this in the name of the LORD.
That is the real man, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather!
