John Allen Pierson

John Allen Pierson, 74, of Aurora, passed away July 2, 2017.

He was born March 14, 1943 in Casper, Wyoming, the son of Raymond and Lois (Tighe) Pierson. He was a graduate of Wellington High School. He attended Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. On May 14, 1988 he married Leta Manker, of Wellington, Colorado.

Jack was a photographer for Colorado State University for several years and was a Real Estate Professional for many years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Leta Pierson, three daughters, Sue (David) Clark, Holly (Andy) Borchardt, and Jaime Pierson; son, Bill (Gretchen) Manker; ten grandchildren, Kailey (Cody) Hoskins, Aaron Borchardt, Keegan Clark, Kaitlin Clark, Emily Manker, Taylor Manker, Kincaid Clark, Trey Manker, Eric Manker, and Richard Fankhauser; and five great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lois Pierson; brother, Darrell Pierson; sister, Darlene Atkins and niece Ramona Nebeker.
