John Raymon Ewing

John "LJ" was born March 12 1958 in Bennett, Colorado to Nolan "Zeke" Ewing and Noramae Ward (John C. Sherer). He spent his life in Bennett, Graduating from Bennett High School in 1976. John also married Brenda Howard and had a daughter Jamie Ewing all in the same year.

LJ was a welder by trade but spent time working the family business Sherer Auto Parts. LJ was a very free spirited and simple man, Loving Family and Friends and in his younger years loved getting on his Harley and going wherever he wanted. He survived crashing his Harley into a tree on Fall River rd. LJ also played the drums in a local band with some friends of his.

In 1989 LJ met Lola "Windy" Wilson They later married in 1990 adding Windy's children Steven Wilson and Misty Medina to the family. LJ and Windy spent 23 years living and loving each other in the family home in Bennett.
Dad had a smile and a laugh that was nothing short of being contagious to everyone around. He will be greatly missed.

John was preceded in death by his Grandparents Frank and Agnes Ward, Parents Nolan "Zeke" Ewing , Noramae Sherer, and John C. Sherer, and Brother Jim Ewing.

John is survived by His Wife Lola "Windy" Wilson, Children, Jamie Ewing Of Bennett, Steven (Jackie) Wilson of Bennett Misty Medina of Denver, Grandchildren, Lauren Unrein and Tristan Peavler of Bennett, Ryan and Justin Wilson of Bennett, and Isaiah and Angelea Medina of Denver.
Siblings, Donald (Patty) Sherer of Strasburg, Bobby (Mandy) Sherer of Bennett, Sharon (Gary) Morgan of Deer Trail, Stepbrothers Bruce Sherer and Stepsister Cheryl Sherer. Also many Nieces and Nephews and Family, Friends and Loved ones.

Memorial Service is Saturday April 20th 2013 at Bennett Presbyterian Church 460 3rd Street Bennett Colorado. With lunch immediately following at Bennett Community Center 1100 W Colfax ave (hwy 36) Bennett Colorado.
