He was born January 13, 1952 in Morenci, Arizona to the union of Juan and Louisa Romero.
John was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Louisa Romero; his brother Margario Romero and his step-daughter Roma Fresquez.
He is survived by his wife Belen Fresquez; Daughter Naida Romero, Step Son; Fred Fresquez; his grandchildren Nathan Coca and Haley Mclaughlin, Isaac and Brooke Fresquez.
Brother to Naida Birge and Eduardo and Ester Romero.
Brother In Law to Beatrice Romero.
Great Grandfather to Emerin and Abel Coca
Uncle to several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends who loved John.
Services held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Rosary, Monday, October, 30, 2017 at 10:30 am with Mass to follow at 11:30 am and Military Honors at 1:30pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Family invites all guests to reception following Ft. Logan back at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
