John S. Chavez of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on March 10, 2012. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy L. Johnson in 2008.

Father of John "Sandy" Chavez, Eddie (deceased), Manuel (deceased), Mary (deceased), Linda (Ernie) Martinez, Elaine (deceased), Tobias (Eugene) Chavez; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and family and friends.

Also survived by sisters, Viola Castro and Lorrie (Joe Padia), and brother, Robert Chavez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
