John Franklin Trotter, 96, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025.


Born on August 3, 1929, in Greenville, South Carolina, the son of William and Altha {Grindstaff} Trotter.


John is survived by his son Scott {Benita} and daughters Michelle {Robert} and Linda {Mike}, 3 granddaughters, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

John is preceded in death by his wife Sharla J {Ross} Trotter, grandson, Justin Miller granddaughter Megan Collins.


The Trotter family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the unconditional loving, compassionate and wonderful care given to him by both Dee Sharp and Benita White.


Family and friends are invited to honor John’s life on November 12, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM, at Newcomer Mortuary in Lakewood. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will be conducted at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 11:30 AM, followed by a luncheon at the Littleton Elks Lodge #1650
