Johnny Duran 57, of Aurora passed away June 8, 2014
He was born March 31, 1957 in Oak Creek Colorado, the son of Mary Katherine Gutierrez and Pemenio Duran.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Arlene, mother-in law Sadie, daughters Kym Smith (Matt), Miranda Russom (Troy), Christina and son, Johnny, five grandchildren, Kennedy Smith, Kade Smith, Ariel Rosales, Manuel Rosales, Nicole Rodriguez, sister-in-laws, Helen Stoneking and Rhonda Bean (Lance), brothers Fred (Kelly) and Chris Suazo, Four aunts; Mary Larez, Juanita Manzanares (Juan), Helen Garcia (Dave) and Liz Valerio, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, stepdaughter Krystal, brothers Tony Garcia, Manuel Garcia, and Charlie Suazo.
Johnny was a kind man and a dedicated employee, having worked for Waste Management for more than 10 years before his death. His WM family brought him many laughs and much enjoyment and he valued each and every friendship he developed. His charisma and smile lit every room he entered, and repeatedly have heard 'you couldn't be in a bad mood when Johnny was around.' His sense of humor, his patience, his giving soul was one of a kind. He was a loyal husband and father who was our light and he will be missed eternally.
