Jose Roger Garcia, 79, of Denver, passed away March 30, 2016.
He was born July 20, 1936 in Taos, New Mexico, the son of Eladio and Celia (LaForett) Garcia.
He received his High School Diploma from the United States Armed Forces Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. He honorably served in the U.S Army during the Cold War.
He was married to Mabel for 50 years.
Jose will be remembered as a Jack-of-all-Trades but a master of none. He enjoyed taking care of his wife Mabel before she passed. He also enjoyed taking trips to Black Hawk. Jose traveled, talked politics and watched the Stock Market. He enjoyed watching sports, particularly football. Most of all, he loved his Coors Light and spending time with his family.
Jose is survived by Four Daughters, Angela Garcia, Rama (Phil) Bustamante, Patricia Gallegos and Connie Garcia; Three Sons, Michael (Kathy) Gallegos, Gilbert (Liz McGinty) Gallegos and Albert (Dawn) Gallegos; Two Brothers, Teddy (Linda) Garcia, Jerry (Sue) Garcia; Sister, Catherine Garcia and Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Wife, Mabel Garcia; Father, Eladio Garcia; Mother, Celia Garcia; Brother, Eladio Garcia, Jr. and Two Sons, Rudy Gallegos and Roger Gallegos.
