Joe passed away May 10, 2007 at the age of 98. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby. Survived by daughter Marilyn (Harold). Schaefer ; grandchildren: Steve (Karla) Schaefer, James Schaefer, Katherine (Tom) Utter, Patricia (Ron) Van Heesch; also 12 great grandchildren. Visitation, Tues. from 6-8pm at Newcomer Family Chapel West; Funeral Services will be at 10am on Wed. at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment, Golden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the LCMS Joint Seminary Fund, 1333 S. Kirkwood Rd., St. Louis, MO 63122 or Golden Civic Foundation, P.O. Box 1538 Golden, CO 80402.
