Joseph Blake Gordon

Joseph Blake Gordon, 40, of Wheat Ridge, CO went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2017. He was born to Jim and Sue Gordon of Wheat Ridge, CO on June 7, 1976. He has three living siblings, Leanne Dell of Cummings, IA, Dennis Gordon of Castle Rock, CO and Lori Gordon of Wheat Ridge, CO.
Joe grew up in the Arvada and Westminster area. His passion growing up was skateboarding. He loved to jump and rail everything, everywhere and at any time as long as he could get away with it. This skating passion lead to being one of the original founders of 303 Boards skate shop. Joe's other passion was cheering on his beloved sports teams. His love took him to many different cities to cheer on the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox and his hometown teams Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Broncos.
Joe worked in the Bartending/Food service in the Denver metro area. He visited Chicago and fell in love with the city. He moved to Chicago and continued to work in the Bartending/Food service for over ten years. He just recently returned to Wheat Ridge, CO in October 2016.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in Memory of Joe to North Federal Baptist Church, 3070 W 65th Ave, Denver, CO 80221.
There will be a memorial service held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:30 AM at North Federal Baptist Church.
