Joseph Hughes Krantz, 62, of Arvada, passed away May 23, 2015.
He was born August 27, 1952 in Ithaca, New York, the son of William and Dorothy (Hughes) Krantz. He was a graduate of Dryden High School. He was a proud member of Electrical Union Local 68 and retired after 35 years. Joseph is credited with inventing the hollow point bullet starter for black powder.
Joseph is survived by Mother, Dorothy E. Krantz; Sons, Robert "Bobby" Krantz, Joseph "Joey" Krantz and William "Billy" Krantz; Grandchildren Corbin, Kimber, Levee, and Hayes; Brothers and Sisters Bill Krantz, Vicky Manning, and John Krantz; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by Father, William E. Krantz.
