Joseph R. Wallington

Joseph R. "JR" Wallington, Sr., 83, of Northglenn, passed away at TRU Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Colorado on Monday, June 9, 2014.
He was born September 21, 1930 in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of Peter and Mary Wallington. He was a graduate of Eastside High School in 1949 and attended Stevens Tech. On May 4, 1952 he married Caroline Targonski. He moved to Wayne, NJ in 1957 and Northglenn, CO in 1984. He was employed by AT&T-Western Electric, Kearney, NJ and Colo. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Denver for 30 years, where he was an usher.
JR is survived by his wife; children: Joseph R. Wallington Jr. of West Milford, NJ; MaryEllen (Peter) Falstad of Bloomington, IL; Andrea J. Wallington of Passaic, NJ; David E. (Denise Yphantis) Wallington of Henderson, CO; grandchildren: Ryan J. (Chelsea) Wallington and Brianna Wallington of IA, Sasha and Dasha Falstad of IL; step-grandchildren: Erica (Matt) Hunter, Nicholas Yphantis; step-great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: William, Walter "Ed," Alex; sisters: Katherine, Stella, Gertrude, Mary; daughter-in-law, Mary Rose Wallington.
His wife is the love of his life and he loved his children and grandchildren very much. He is loved and will be missed dearly.
