Joseph Raymond Mora, 69, left this world peacefully on April 15, 2026, after a lengthy illness.

Joseph was known to everyone as Ray and was born on December 9th, 1956, in Denver Colorado, the son of the late Joseph Charles Mora and the late Beatrice Marie Mondragon, and greatly raised and mentored by his late stepdad Richard Gilbert Gonzales.

Ray was proud to have grown up in Denver, across from the Broncos Stadium, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family and community. After High School he had many jobs learning lifelong skills until he went on to pursue a career with the City and County of Denver as a Supervisor at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, to which he retired in 2012.

A loving husband to Diane Mora, Ray was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they shared a blended family of children and grandchildren. He was a devoted father always there to offer guidance, love and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at Holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him. His sense of humor could lighten every room.

Ray had many passions in life including, Hunting, Fishing, Camping, talking with new and lifelong friends, watching and rooting for his Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets, but most of all his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rest in peace in paradise Ray, your will be missed and your memory will live forever!

At Ray’s request there are no services.
