Josie Marie Vargas (Espinoza)
Our Mother Josie was Born on January 6, 1932 to Pete and Ramona Espinoza. She was one of eighteen children born to our grand parents. Yes it was a large family but back then you had a large family. Our parents were married on November 23, 1953, In Rocky Ford, Colorado. Our parents had 10 children 5 boys and 5 girls. Our mother remarried in 1975 and had one other brother with her new husband. We weren't a rich family but we were loved by our parents. We lived in Rocky Ford until 1963 when we moved to Denver. Our Mother did a very good job raising us. We were taught to love and respect our elders. Our Mother was a very wonderful person who was caring and respectful of others. Our Mother leaves behind her children Mary Jane, Diane, Joe, Bernice, Robert, Debbie, Ramona, Donald, Ronald, Richard, and Ruben. She also leaves behind one Sister Lupe, and two Brothers Robert and Arthur. Also 26 grandchildren and 74 great grandchildren.
