Josie Palma, 87, of Denver, passed away December 10, 2014.
She was born May 1, 1927 in Riverfalls, South Dakota, the daughter of Juan and Candelaria (Blancarte) Bermudez. On August 28, 1982 she married Ruben Palma, of Chihuahua, Mexico.
Josie is survived by her husband, Ruben Palma; three daughters, Rose Ann (Raymond) Pineda, Ruby Ann (Ramon) Gonzalez, Tammy (Harold) Jacobs; five sons, John Bermudez, Joe Contreras Jr., Mark (Darla) Contreras, Ronald (Josie) Contreras, James Contreras; two brothers, Pete (Louise) Bermudez, Manuel (Patricia) Bermudez; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lupe Trailer; and granddaughter, Raechel Gonzalez.
