Joyce Elee Trinrud was the loving wife of Orwin Trinrud for 63 years. They had three children.
She was born in Wisconsin and graduated from high school in Elroy.
She and Orwin were quite the adventurers as they eloped on a Harley Davidson motorcycle in 1950.
Church and reading the Bible was always very important to Joyce and Orwin, and it was foundational to their life together. Even when there were hard times, a mutual love of God drew them together and strengthened them and their family.
Orwin and Joyce especially enjoyed square dancing and traveling and two of their favorite trips were to Norway and Hawaii. They believed that travel enriched life. They made sure their children had many experiences of traveling and camping in the United States, throughout their family life.
Joyce was the foundation for the family, always making sacrifices for the good of everyone else, and asking little in return. She is a grandmother of three girls and a great-grandmother of two boys.
Her laughter and quiet jokes were always a part of every holiday celebration and she is missed, but we know she and Orwin are moving forward, dancing into the sunrise and laughing with new experiences to come.
