Juan Garcia, 40, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away on Sunday afternoon, March 1st. He was born on April 20, 1985, in El Paso, Texas, to Phyllis Hernandez (Saul) and the late Juan Garcia Sr.
Juan grew up in Denver and attended North High School, where he proudly played as the starting quarterback for the football team.
He later built a long-term relationship with Angela McKnight, and although they were separated at the time of his passing, they shared many meaningful years together.
Juan is survived by his children: Juan Garcia III, Anthony Garcia, Damian Garcia, and Alenna Garcia. Although Alenna was not his biological daughter, he loved her deeply, considered her his own, and she lovingly called him "Daddy."
He is also survived by his siblings: Luis Aguirre (Renee), Raquel Arias (Felix), Diego Aguirre, Blanca Estrella Cote' (James), and Claudia Angel Hughes (Adam), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Juan was passionate about music-writing, rapping, and creating his own rhymes and poetry. He was incredibly proud of his children and loved them fiercely.
A devoted sports fan, he was a die-hard supporter of the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche. He especially cherished watching his older sons, Juan and Anthony play hockey and loved attending Avalanche games with them.
Juan will be remembered for his magnetic smile, contagious laugh, and the warmth he brought to every room. He was a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
Juan Garcia-also known as Baby John-you will be deeply missed.
