Juanita Selders passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025.
Juanita was born in Newark, New Jersey, in March of 1953 to Sam and Christine. She later moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, after visiting her best friend. It was there she was introduced to her late husband, Cliff, and together they built a life in Colorado.
Juanita was an avid reader and a true bargain hunter who loved shopping at thrift stores for one-of-a-kind clothing and could not pass up a good jumpsuit from Macy’s. She had an incurable sweet tooth, especially enjoying Starbucks lemon pound cake and Pecan rolls from See’s Candies.
Juanita settled nicely into retirement, spending countless hours reading, working on puzzles, and enjoying time with family and friends. She took joy in simple pleasures, such as sitting in her backyard, which she fondly called her "private park," or on the front porch, depending on the temperature and location of the sun.
Juanita leaves behind her loving family, including her daughter, Tashana, and granddaughter, Nala, as well as a host of lifelong friends.
