Judith Ann Chase, 68, of Littleton, died Saturday October 26, 2013.
She was born to the late James & Betty Million, December 6, 1944, in Denver, CO. Judy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962. Judy met Glen through her father who worked with Glen in the sheet metal trade and not long after in March of 1963, she married her husband of fifty years, Glen. They shared their lives together in the suburbs of Denver.
Judy worked for the Tri-County Health Department as a case register in the TB clinic from 1982-1987. She also worked for Jefferson County Health Department as an addiction counselor in the court appointed drug and alcohol program during this period.
Judy's greatest and most cherished titles were that of Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. One of her favorite things was making Birthday cakes for the one she loved. Judy was a God loving woman who was grounded by her faith and convictions in seeing good in all people.
Judy is survived by her husband Glen who was her love, life, and friend. She is also survived by her two children David Chase and Lisa Holt, as well as their spouses Johnney Holt & Serese Chase.
She also is survived by five grandchildren: Zachary Holt, Marlee Holt, Michaela "Kayla" Holt, Amelia Chase and James Chase. She is preceded in death by her parents James & Betty Million and her sister Carole Shkapich.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 5th from 5pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Homer located at 901 South Sheridan Boulevard, Lakewood, CO 80266. Funeral Services will follow on Wednesday, November 6th at 1:00pm an the Newcomer Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Crown Hill Cemetery at 2:30pm located at 7777 West 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO.
