Judith Elson

Judi Elson, 86, of Lakewood, CO, passed away on November 13, 2023. Judi was born on October 25th, 1937, in Buffalo, NY, to Clifford and Honor Kirtland. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Elson, her son Daniel Elson, her daughter-in-law Trenda Elson, her grandson Braden Smith, and her granddaughter Chloe Elson. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Honor Kirtland and her brother Clifford Kirtland.

Judi loved to volunteer, and she devoted her post-retirement time to serving the community. She participated extensively in both Eiber Elementary School and the Jefferson County Action Center. Judi also cherished her trips to Sea Island to visit her brother and his family, as well as her lunch and dinner outings with friends. She took great pride in attending her grandson's baseball and football games, as well as her granddaughter's softball and basketball games. Judi was a proud and loving grandmother. Judi was an avid Broncos fan and loved the Rockies as well.

After completing her studies at Michigan State University, Judi moved to Colorado and led a happy life surrounded by her loved ones. She had a successful career, working at May D & F, Aetna, and lastly Hines Financial where she eventually retired from.

Judi worshipped at St. Paul's Episcopal Church where her services are scheduled for December 1st at 11am. Flowers or donations can be sent to St Paul's Episcopal Church in Judi's memory.

Judi will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and devotion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
