Julia C. Vigil, 77, of Denver, passed away January 25, 2016.
She was born June 3, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Julian and Ramona (Gonzales) Atencio.
She married Joseph Vigil in 1958.
Julia was a long time member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Julia was an artist who enjoyed drawing. She collected Indian artifacts. Above all, Julia enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Julia is survived by her Loving Husband of 57 years, Joseph G. Vigil; Five Children, Michael (Kayleen) Vigil, Mark Vigil, Christine Vigil, Theresa Vigil and Adria Vigil; Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; Two Brothers, Anthony (Priscilla) Atencio and Jerry (Alegria) Atencio; Two Sisters, Frances (Jimmy) Browner and Josie (Bob) Contreras; and Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by Father, Julian Atencio, Mother, Ramona Atencio, Son, Richard Vigil and Brother, Raymond Atencio.
