Julian P. "Rocky" Montoya, 92, of Denver, passed away September 24, 2014.
He was born January 4, 1922 in Walsenburg, Colorado, the son of Julian and Agueda (Garcia) Montoya.
Julian is survived by sister, Mary R. Armijo; son, Victor Montoya; two daughters, Eileen Mickelson, and Juanita Nash; and nephew, Steven R. Armijo. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 10-11am at Presentation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 665 Irving St in Denver, followed by a Rosary at 11am and Mass at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
