Julie Ilah Mae Kenison

Julia Ilah Mae Kenison born February 24, 1947 to Julia aka Lorie and Donald aka Bud Knutson in Crosby, North Dakota.

She has 4 children Christopher, Heather, Hillary and Jeremy and was the grandmother to 10 grandchildren. She has 3 siblings, Judy, Don, & Joy.

Julie came to Colorado for college where she attended Denver Women’s College which later merged with DU.

Julie was a dedicated wife and mother and spent her life working for the LORD. She was much more involved in charity work, church, and serving God in any way she could.

In the 80’s she was known as “The Shoe Lady” as she raised money for children’s hospital selling thousands of shoes for several years. She would give the shirt off of her back for anyone.

Julie was a wonderful caregiver to so many people all the way until she could not work any longer.
