Kanyon Lavely Reynolds, 17, of Aurora, passed away April 2, 2016.
He was born May 3, 1998 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Lauren and Lou Scalmanini. He attended PUSH Academy High School.
Kanyon is survived by his parents, Lauren and Lou Scalmanini; four brothers, Ian (Rachel) Drew-Bell, Corey (Cailyn) Drew-Bell, Chayce Reynolds, and Justin Reynolds; grandmother, GeraLine (Robert Adams) Drew; two grandfathers, James Scalmanini and Johnny Whelan; great-grandmother, Lola Striggles; nephew, Makai Drew-Bell; great-aunt, Alta (Dawn) Lee; six aunts, Jody (Michael) Salorio, Occia Drew, Heather Richards, Sibyl Swope, Charlis Tharp, and Julia Taylor; three uncles: David (Sue Makowski) Bell, Christopher (Ty Touslee) Booker, and Isaac (Anniece) Stringfield. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Pasley; grandmother, Jean Scalmanini; and great-grandmother, Texana Striggles.
Kanyon's family requests that everyone attending the service please wear light colors as we are all celebrating his life (purple was his favorite color but is not required as part of your attire).
