Kathleen "Kitten" Rae Sample

Kathleen "Kitten" Sample aged 79 of Denver, Colorado passed away quietly on December 7th, 2025. Born to the late Roberta and Richard Morris at Lamb Memorial on 9/13/46 Kitten would stay in Colorado where she made a life.

Kitten was married twice, and had four children, three survive. She had eight grand babies and six great grandchildren. The love that Kitten gave to her family was limitless and without judgement. If you needed help, she gave it to you. Always making sure you knew she loved you, and having food in your tummy, made her smile.

Kitten was a Nurses Aid at one time, and had a lot of jobs in the Customer Service department. Kitten once received an award working at IHS, worked the cage at Yellow Taxi, and eventually retired as Store Manager from The Cigarette Store.

Kitten loved animals, growing up she would visit her Grandpa's ranch where she could ride horses. A memory she cherished until the end. Kitten always had cats and maybe a dog. Being a mother never stopped with her kids, always checking in on her customers, friends and close family. A true light has left us with the words "love you, baby," ringing in our ears.

The family is planning a celebration of life on January 20th.
