Kathleen Mary (Calton) Luther, age 57, of Aurora, Colorado died on March 2, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Wisconsin on March 1, 1955 to parents Arneth J. and Anastasia Calton. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Robin R. Luther; brothers Michael and Kerry (Debbie) Calton; father in law Arthur A. Luther; brother in law, Alan (Lynda) Luther; aunt and uncle Donna and Duane Calton; nieces and nephews, Jeni Luther, Shari Luther, Tim Calton and Jennifer Calton. She is also survived by numerous family and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Samantha; her parents; her mother in law, Audrey Luther.
Kathy graduated from New Berlin High School in 1973 and later from WCTC in accounting and the University of Phoenix with a business management degree. Robin and Kathy were married in Mequon on July 10, 1993 and Samantha was born in Waukesha on April 24, 1994. In 1998 work opportunities brought the family to Aurora Colorado. Kathy enjoyed organizing many family activities geared around Samantha and exploring the surrounding area. She was an active volunteer in Samantha's school and sports activities. Kathy always had an amazing ability to remember others with a card or note of encouragement for a birthday or no special reason at all. Her thoughtfulness and generosity will be missed by many.
