Kathleen Therese Vroomen

Kathleen Therese Vroomen, 84, of Wheat Ridge, passed away September 18, 2017.

She was born November 20, 1932 in Croom County, Limerick, Ireland, the daughter of Cornelius and Mary (Egan) O'Donoghue. She was a graduate of New Castle West High School in Ireland. She attended Metro State University in Denver.

On April 30, 1977, she married Renier Vroomen.

Kathleen was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Church where she sang in the choir.

Kathleen was an animal lover. She also enjoyed tending to her rose garden and loved roses of every type.

Kathleen is survived by three sisters, Anne M. Ramsey, Mary O'Donoghue and Eileen O'Donoghue; two brothers, Michael (Peg) O'Donoghue and Stephen (Anna) O'Donoghue and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Renier Vroomen in 2003; father Cornelius O'Donoghue and mother, Mary O'Donoghue.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen's name to the Dumb Friends League, 2080 S. Quebec St., Denver, Colorado, CO 80231.
