Keith Duane Johnson

Keith Duane Johnson, 85, of Watkins, CO, passed away at The Denver Hospice on Sunday, November 26, 2017.

Keith was born in Moose Lake, MN, to Fred and Kathleen (Stage) Johnson, February 29, 1932. Keith graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1950. He worked on the family farm and was a merchant marine before enlisting in the U.S. Army.

Keith was a Korean War veteran, serving from 1952 until 1954.

He was married to Marilyn Olson until her passing in 2014.

Keith retired from Control Data Corporation after moving all around the country. He then worked for and retired from the Hughes Aircraft Company.

He loved working on automobiles and had a great passion for Oldsmobiles. He liked fixing things around the house and being in his "Castle" (the garage). He also liked to bowl and hunt. He belonged to the Rocky Mountain Oldsmobile Club and NRA.

Keith was liked by everyone who knew him and he would do anything his family or friends needed or wanted.

Keith is survived by his, son Richard, brother Bob in South Dakota, sister Winnie in Georgia, and sister Maryanne in Minnesota, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry, and sister, Joan.
