1935-2016
Keitha LeRae Purnell, 81, of Aurora, passed away May 2, 2016.
She was born May 13, 1935 in Fork Township, Minnesota and was the daughter of Harry and Mildred Parr.
Keitha was a true friend to everyone she met and always took the time to listen.
She cared deeply for others and was always willing to help someone in need. Her love of baking always brought all the kids friends to the house on a regular basis for cookies and anything else she had made that day. She loved to get together with friends to bowl, play cards, play bunco and make an occasional day trip to Blackhawk. She also enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens.
She is survived by her children Kim Quante, Jon Purnell and Bill Purnell of Aurora, Colorado and Jeff Purnell of Bothell, Washington; Four Sisters, Gail Grassel and Kaye Vanyo of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Polly Reitan of Frazee, Minnesota and Beverly Kane of Huntington Beach, California; Nine grandchildren, Crystal Quante, Johnny Quante, Michael Quante, Kaitlyn Purnell, Riley Purnell, Zachary Purnell, Nathan Purnell, Jessica Cross and Justin Cross; Two great-grandchildren, Trenton Robson and Cameron Quante.
She is preceded in death by Husband, William M. Purnell; Siblings Harry Parr and Gordon Parr.
Memorial service and reception to be held on May 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at St.Pius X Catholic Church, 13670 E 13th Place, Aurora, Co 80011.
