Kenneth Arthur Elmgreen

Kenneth Arthur (Bud) Elmgreen, a VFW member, dedicated over 25 years to and retired from Excel. Someone who touched so many lives, he died in his Evergreen home on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 90 years old.
Bud was born on August 15, 1921, and was admired by many throughout his long life. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, his daughters Patricia and Kathy, and son Brad Benton.
Bud was a wonderful father of 4 and a wonderful brother, survived by brother Everett and sister Ethel Snowbarger. He was also a wonderful grandfather of Mindy, Deidre, and Justin; he had 3 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Lacy and Brennan and was a friend to many. Bud will be missed.
A service honoring him will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado 80226 at 10 AM on Friday, August 10, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Life Care Center of Evergreen.
