August 2, 1936 — December 10, 2011

Kenneth E. Gray 75 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday 12/10/2011 after being admitted to the Medical Center of Aurora South. He is survived by Beverly Gray, his son Mark Gray, his daughter Michelle (Gray) Witchie her husband JR Witchie.
Ken was born in Greeley, Colorado and is the oldest of five children. His parents Darwyn T. Gray and Rowena E. ( Nicks ) Gray passed on several years ago. Ken is also survived by his siblings Michael (Anita) Gray, Sharon Blake(Dolph), Douglas (Jackie) Gray and Joan Gray as well as several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Ken spent some of his early years living on his grandparent's farm near Pierce, Colorado. He moved to Massachusetts and California for a time, then returned back to Colorado while his father was overseas during World War II. In 1952 he was once again living in California, while attending high school he met Beverly. Ken graduated high school in 1954 and joined the U.S. Air Force. In 1955 after finishing basic training he married Beverly. They traveled to different parts of the world and USA, during which they started and raised a family. In 1972, he again returned to his home state of Colorado. Ken served in the Air Force for 23 years. A few years after retiring from the military, Ken joined the Dept of Defense at Lowry AFB as a civil service employee. He retired in 2003 after nearly 45 years of service to his country. Ken lived the remainder of his life in Aurora. He will be greatly missed by all.
