KENNETH MERLE GEISERT, 90 , of Aurora, CO passed away Wednesday February 1, 2017
He was born to Adolph & Elda Geisert, November 23, 1926 in Denver, Co. Kenneth graduated from South High School in Denver CO.
Served in the US Navy during World War II, attended the CU Engineering School and served as a Boy Scout Leader with his sons. He worked for the State of Colorado Highway Dept and retired, after 33 years of civil service. After retirement Kenneth enjoyed extensive travelling.
Kenneth was baptized January 16, 1927 and confirmed at St Johns Lutheran Church, he was a charter member of Hope Lutheren church and served as a Treasurer and Usher.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Charlotte of 66 years, daughters Vicki Messer and her husband Craig Messer of Aurora, CO; Jill Dodero and husband Vince Dodero of Denver CO, and son Mark Geisert of Arvada CO. Eight grandchildren: Melisa Geisert, Jeanne Sweet, Kyle Dodero, Dean Dodero, Courtney Geisert, Kellen Geisert, Shelby Geisert, Marshal Geisert and three great grandchildren Vincent, Brody and Micah. Sisters Luella Karst, Elda Heidemann and half brother Ron Geisert. He is preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Elda Geisert; step sister Ardeen Ludwig; sister Barbara Wilcockson; brother Henry Paul Geisert; half sister Claudia Albertson and son Peter Geisert

Services will be held at Hope Luthren Church, 1345 Macon St, Aurora, CO 80010, Feburary 11 at 10 a.m.
