Kenneth Duane Schlager, 63, of Aurora, passed away December 27, 2018.
He was born March 12, 1955 in Casper, Wyoming, the son of Lawrence and Jeanette (Eisenbarth) Schlager. In April of 1960, his family moved to Wendover, Utah where they lived for one year. They moved to Panama City, Florida and lived there for three months before relocating to Aurora, Colorado in November of 1961. Ken attended Hinkley High School and later received his GED. He also attended a welding and mechanic trade school.
Ken was a skilled welder, fabricator, and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.
Ken is survived by his sons, Shawn Schlager and Brian Kindsvater (Lorraine Patricca); parents, Lawrence and Jeanette Schlager; sister, Cathy (Curt) Samuelson; grandchildren, Natalie, Jacob, and Joshua Kindsvater; and nieces, Nicole and Heather Samuelson.
