Gottmer Jr, Lambert "SKIP"

Skip passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He served in the US. Army during the Viet Nam conflict in the artillery division and was stationed in Germany. He was 66 years old. He had recently retired from Core-Mark Int'l after 47 years of service. Husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was survived by his wife, Sandy (Hurts) Gottmer, his daughter Denise Skidmore, his stepchildren Michael Wolfe and Tresa Hebert, grandchildren Jessica & Daniel Skidmore, Brittany Schmitt, Brandon Wolfe, great granddaughter Madilynn Bowser and his sister Carol DeArmond. His son Donald predeceased him in death in 2001. Skip was an avid NASCAR fan as well as any of the other Denver sports teams. Skip was always ready to help anyone who needed it and was a fiercely loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He will be interred at Fort Logan National Cemetery on March 14, 2014 at 2:15 pm.
