Larry Farr

Larry Allen Farr 60 died Sunday April 10 at 6:15AM at the Denver Hospice in Denver, CO. He was born February 24, 1951 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to JD and Elva Farr. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Jerry Davis Farr and Gary Lee Farr, sister Diana Lynne Farr-Gill, two children Laura Lynn Farr and Scott Allen Farr and 6 grandchildren Brendon David Farr, Aaron Michael Lamora,
Bryon Michael Farr, Jordin Nicole Lamora, Jared Scott Lamora, and Evan James
Farr. Larry was a graduate of Columbia University with a bachelor of science in
computer information systems. He also earned a certification in cytotechnology
at the school of cytotechnology in Las Vegas, Nevada. Larry grew up and attended high school in Garden City, KS. He married Joy Lynn Spencer in 1969. Their children, Laura, born April 19, 1974 and Scott, born March 28, 1976 were born at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. Larry moved to Denver, CO with his wife and children in 1978. Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed golfing and other sports. He built his own house and owned several other pieces of property in the Denver Metro area. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. A memorial service will be held in Garden City, KS on Saturday,April 23 at 10:00 AM at First Southern Baptist Church, 2708 North 3rd Garden City Kansas.
