LaVora Pauline Johnson, 81, of Strasburg, passed away Monday, June 11th, 2018.
She was born to Joseph and Helen Deitchler, November 26th, 1936, in Mineola, Iowa. LaVora graduated from Silver City High School in 1954. She married Loren Johnson in 1959 and they relocated to Colorado in 1990.
LaVora was a receptionist and retired from Home Buyers Warranty in 2010. LaVora was passionate about gardening, spending time with family and she loved collecting cookbooks.
LaVora is survived by her sons: Len Johnson and Les Johnson and his family. She is also survived by her sister, Roberta Deitchler.
A service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mineola Iowa on Saturday June 23rd.
