Leigh Burnett Bagley, age 69, died August 13, 2016, after being diagnosed with Stage 4 gallbladder cancer only one month earlier. Leigh is survived by the love of his life, Alice (Mc Peak) Bagley.
Leigh was born on September 12, 1946, to Edith and Edward Bagley in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Leigh spent his professional career as a neurodiagnostic tech. He retired in 1999 from St. Mary's hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Once retired Alice and Leigh hit the road in their RV to explore America! The last two years on the road were spent at Long Key in the Florida Keys workamping for KOA. Without a shadow of a doubt this was Leigh's favorite place on earth and continued to be on "Island Time" 10 years after leaving the Keys.
You cannot be a tourist forever so Leigh and Alice returned to Colorado in 2006 and settled in Littleton, Colorado.
Leigh was a proud Army Veteran and served time In Vietnam.
Leigh loved Jesus with all his heart and soul and was so blessed to be a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Leigh is survived by his devoted wife Alice, sister Anne (Bagley) Guffey, brother Edward "Buddy" Bagley, son Michael and his wife Amy, step sons Shannon and his wife Chandra, and Aaron and his wife Kim. Leigh also leaves behind 6 grandchilden, Jonathan, Joshua, Brandon, Julia, Samson and Dresden. They were the light of his life.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Denver.
