Lenora Claudine Sutton was born November 5, 1934 in Carbondale, Colorado to Otis and Zetta Metcalf. She passed away on October 25, 2018 at the age of 83. Lenora was a Colorado native.
Lenora was married to Dallas Eugene Sutton in Grand Junction Colorado on March 24, 1953 and to this union was born three children; David Eugene Sutton of Westminster, Colorado, William Leon Sutton of Mack, Colorado and Betty Claudine Sutton of New Port Richey, Florida.
Lenora was blessed with nine grand-children; Sarah Ranaie Sutton, Joshua David Sutton, Adam Leon Sutton, Zachary Luke Sutton, Shaunteah Nichole DeMello, Travis James Delaplane, Nathan Daniel Delaplane, Krystal Lanette Myers and Amanda Cherie Medero.
Lenora was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren Caleb Sutton, Jenessa Sutton, Katelynn Ibrahim, Hannah Ibrahim, Adonijah, Malachi, Zao DeMello, Spencer Delaplane, Alleya Estrada, Kaiden Myers and Anthony Glazier.
Lenora is survived by her sister Verna Morris of Georgia.
Lenora graduated from High school Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Lenora has worked a variety of jobs during her lifetime including Coors Porcelain plant, Alcove's, J&L Bookkeeping, and the United States Post Office.
Lenora had the privilege of a rich Christian heritage. She played the guitar, lead the choir, served as Sunday school superintendent , and sang in a quartet.
Mom loved to bowl, and search for her family genealogy as well as travel for both fun and family history.
Mom impacted her families life by encouraging them to go to church and to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
