Leo E. Colby , 81, of Lakewood, passed away April 28, 2016.

He was born June 4, 1934 in Sterling, Kansas, the son of Grant and Frieda (Heitzmen) Colby. He proudly served as a Corporal in the US Marine Corps during the Korea Conflict and was Honorably Discharged in 1957. On July 22, 1957 he married Mary Lou Dickson in Lyons, KS. He worked for UPS as a driver for 26 years, retiring in 1995. He loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. He was an avid John Wayne and California Angels fan.

Leo is survived by his Wife, Mary Lou Colby; Son, Michael E. Colby; Daughter, Marie E. Colby; Four Grandchildren, Kirsten (Justin) Owens, Amanda (Anthony) Rodriguez, Stephen (Krista) Colby, Susanna (John) Santos; Six Great-Grandchildren, Brandon Colby, Hailey Colby, Layton Owens, Julie Rodriguez, Ryleigh Rodriguez, Caden Owens, and a 7th Great Grandchild on the way, due to arrive in September. He is preceded in death by Father, Grant R. Colby, Mother, Frieda Colby, Sister, Marie Mahoney, Sister, Thelma Garrison, Brother, Raymond Colby.

He will always be known for his sense of humor and laughter. He was known throughout the country by the nickname of "Trouble". He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
