Preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Mary Louise (Rackers) Fahrni, and by six siblings: Clara, Dolly, Betsy, Babe, Ruth and Bud.
Survived by three children: Leonard Jr, Patricia Hutton, and William "Bill", one grandson, Erin Hutton, and 38 nieces and nephews.
Enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April of 1945;
32nd Degree Mason;
Member of Local #9 on the Operating Engineers for over 65 years.
