Lila Aleksick, age 100, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Aleksick, her brother Leo Hill, her sisters Alma Farmer, Bertha Allen, Gertrude Lindblom, and Helen Cole, and by her long-time canine companion, a white Bichon named Gracie.
Survived by 3 children; Robert (Barbara) Aleksick of Denver, CO; Harriet Novak (Kevin Flynn) of Denver, CO; and Mike (Terry) Aleksick of Arvada, CO; one sister, Sylvia Musson, of Illinois, and four grandchildren: Robert (Joanne) Aleksick Jr. of Illinois, Linda Aleksick of Illinois, Jerry (Susan) Novak of California, and Chris (Kari) Novak of California, as well as four great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
There was cremation and a private family service.
Lila was a kind, generous, loving soul and will be missed. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice, in particular a charity benefiting children or veterans of the armed forces.
