Lilo Marlene Over, 82 passed away on May 12, 2014
She was born in Heilbronn, Germany on January 14, 1932, to Lena Lachenmair and Erich Macco along with her identical twin sister Erica. (She would want me to mention that Erica is the older one.)
She met Harry while he was stationed in Germany and they were married on August 23 1953.
She attended nursing school and later obtained an Associate's Degree from Metro State College. Along with numerous other jobs, she worked as a Mental Health Technician at Fort Logan Mental Health Center for 20 years.
Lilo was an active volunteer and along with husband Harry, created a Santa Shop for under privileged children in Sheridan, Colorado, the community that she resided in for 46 years. They were honored as 7 Every Day Hero's for this labor of love.
Lilo is survived by Harry Over, her husband of 61 years, her twin sister Erica McMillen, daughters, Mary Ann Plocher and husband Bruce, Doreen Christian, and Karin Hightower and husband Robert, 6 grandchildren, Tammy Bullock and husband John, Carrie Plocher, Kendra Christian, Heather, Kevin, and Clinton Hightower, 2 great Grandchildren John III and Miranda Bullock.
The viewing will be at 10:00a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20. The service will follow at 10:30a.m.
