LINDA KAY RAMADAN ETTER
Linda K. R. Etter, born March 26, 1957, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 68. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her husband, Lee Etter, her daughter, Nicki Mandala, and her son, Sami Stornelli.
Linda was the second of three children born to Paul and Lorraine Ramadan in Denver, Colorado. Linda grew up in Lakewood and graduated from Alameda High School. She went on to earn a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Colorado. In 1982, Linda earned a Juris Doctorate Degree and, in 1994, a Master of Tax Law from the University of Denver College of Law.
Linda spent most of her legal career working for the Air Force Accounting and Finance Center and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, both located in Denver. Her major responsibility was drafting legal opinions and Department of Defense regulations on military pay, allowances, and the implementation of Federal and State taxes on military pay. Near the end of her career, Linda supervised all the military pay attorneys located at the five Defense Finance and Accounting Service Centers in the United States.
Linda was first a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Christmas was her favorite holiday, making it special for all of her extended family, delivering gifts to kids through the Angel Tree ministry, and giving clothing to the homeless on Christmas Day. She loved to travel for pleasure to Europe, the Caribbean, and throughout the United States. She especially enjoyed trips with her kids to Aruba, Hawaii, and the Eastern United States.
Linda was an active member and Deacon at the Bear Creek Church, participating in numerous small co-ed and women's Bible study groups and assisting with various ministries, including the food bank, Kids' Club, and providing school backpacks and supplies for needy Bear Creek High School students.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lee Etter; her daughter, Nicki Mandala of Kalispell, Montana; and her son, Sami Stornelli of Englewood, Colorado. She is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren; Casey, Sawyer, Vera, and Zara; and by her two brothers Roland Ramadan of Lakewood, Colorado, and Rafiq Paul Ramadan, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lorraine Ramadan.
