Linda Lee Churchwell, 64, of Aurora, passed away June 13, 2015.
She was born October 5, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Stanley and Lorraine (Jorgensen) Sundwall. She was a graduate of Carl Schurz High School. On November 27, 1972, she married Thomas S. Churchwell Sr.
Linda passion for dogs led her to be the first person to offer Dog Agility Classes in the State of Colorado. She enjoyed horseback riding and roaster competitions. She was a member of the American Hackney Horse Society. Both Linda and Thomas were Boston Terrier dog breeders. The entrepreneurial spirit of both Thomas and Linda was realized in their leadership in owning T.C. Vacs vacuum shop. Linda also worked as a security guard since 1995 and was recognized by her employer, FirstWatch for her motivation and attention to detail. She was also recognized by Governor Romer for her courteous and professional demeanor while employed at FirstWatch.
Linda is survived by Daughter, Rebecca L. (John) Reis; Three Grandchildren, Kayla Churchwell, Abigail Reis and Samantha BeDan and Sister, Barbara.
She is preceded in death by Husband, Thomas S. Churchwell, Sr., Parents Stanley William Sundwall and Lorraine Ruth Zach, Son, Thomas S. Churchwell, II, Sister, Nancy Schwartz, and Many cherished pets.
