Lindsay Alissia Lovato, affectionately known as "Lindsay Lou," was born on May 29, 1987, in Englewood, Colorado, and sadly departed this world on July 28, 2025, also in Englewood, Colorado. Her journey through life was marked by an unwavering spirit, a zest for fun, and an abundance of love that she shared generously with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Lindsay was a bright light, always happy and outgoing, radiating joy with her infectious personality. She was a caring soul, known for her rambunctious nature and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed. Her love for music and the arts brought vibrancy to her life, and she enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Whether it was coloring, having fun popcorn nights while watching movies with the kids, or indulging in her favorite meals at Red Lobster, Lindsay enriched every moment with laughter and warmth.
Family was at the heart of Lindsay's world. She cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews, engaging in delightful activities like making chamoy pickles and creating colorful slime. These moments at the park with them were treasures that underscored her devotion and affection. It was in these shared experiences that Lindsay found her greatest joy, often exclaiming her signature phrase, "whoopty whoopty woo!"—a mantra that encapsulated her playful spirit.
Lindsay's battle with health challenges was long and arduous, but she faced it with courage and grace. Surrounded by the love of her family, she drew strength from those connections and continued to inspire them with her positive outlook on life right until her final moments.
She is survived by her loving parents, Joseph and Pamela; her brother, Joseph; and her sisters, Catrina, Justine, and Erika. Lindsay’s vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of her nieces—Adriana, Angelique, Bubba, Gia, Aviana, and Neekz—who will carry forth her legacy of joy and laughter.
Lindsay is now reunited with her beloved grandfathers, Victor Manuel Martinez and Joseph Lovato, as well as her beloved uncle Victor Manuel Martinez Jr. Tor, who welcomed her into their arms. While she may no longer be physically present, the love she shared and the memories she created will forever echo in the lives she touched.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life with a viewing on August 22, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Denver, Colorado, followed by a Mass and interment at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. The celebration of Lindsay's life will continue at VFW Post in Englewood later that day.
Lindsay Lou, Fishey Lou, Linds Loc, Nina... will be missed dearly but never forgotten. Her loving spirit remains a beacon of happiness for all who were privileged to know her.
