Lois A. Sondergard

Lois A. Sondergard, 81 of Littleton, CO passed away on March 6, 2016. She was born on March 30, 1934 in Aberdeen, SD to Theodore "Ted" W. Strome and Ann (Baer) Strome. She married Donald "Jim" Sondergard on May 29, 1951. They were married for over 59 years. He died on March 9, 2011.
Lois enjoyed doing cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, sewing and other craftwork as well as word search puzzles. She also enjoyed camping with the family.
Survivors include her 5 children, Don Sondergard of Hot Springs, SD; Barbara (Bill) Duncan of Colorado Springs, CO; Susan (Jiri) Baumgard/Krofta of Simi Valley, CA; Pat (Randy) Scheppmann of Littleton, CO; Dean Sondergard of Castle Rock, CO; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren and a sister, Joyce (Strome) Dobson of Hinckley, OH.
In addition to her husband, Donald Jim Sondergard, Lois was also predeceased by a grandson, Brandon Joseph Sondergard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Lutheran Church, 7531 S. Kendall Blvd. Littleton, CO 80128.
Lois was a wonderful person who was loved by her family and will sadly and forever be missed and in our hearts by all of us. We love you!
