Lois Jean Van Selus, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 after a valiant fight against Parkinson's disease and failing health.
Born in Pardeeville, Wisconsin, July 27, 1929, to Arthur and Beatrice (Smith) Heaps, Lois was a dedicated, kind and compassionate wife, mother, sister and friend who taught others about courage and unconditional love; she received her certificate from the opportunity business school in Casper, Wyoming.
She went on to become a successful Administrative Assistant in the roofing manufacturing industry. Added to this career is that of a successful homemaker raising her 4 children.
She loved her family deeply and found great pleasure in sharing their lives with her close friends. She spent many hours in community service with Women's church groups.
